Just a couple of cute pics of c-bug

Today was the first day of baseball I'm playing on a co-ed softball team for Emily's work. we played against 15 year old girls fast pitch team, yes they whooped us. anyway the team stuck me playing 3rd base as it turns out I'm not as good as i remember from 20 years ago, when i last played or as young. my first time at bat well you can see the result from the picture. but in my defence the field was like playing in a sandbox i tried to kill the ball my first time up and i fell pretty embarrassing not only that the ball went about two feet i was thrown out at first. the worst part of this whole fiasco is golf starts Tuesday.

speech festival

A couple of week ago Sydney got a letter saying the school was having a speech festival, but that the festival was optional for kids in kindergarten. Sydney didn't say much about it and i forgot until last night when Sydney came home from school saying she raised her hand at school saying she had a poem memorized for the festival and so we needed to get one quickly. so last night we found a poem called my dog does my homework she memorized it in a couple of hours and attached is the video of her at school
